Description

Adjustment of mandibular advancement

As a general rule, a mandibular advancement of 4 to 7 mm is sufficient to reduce snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. The anti-snoring orthoses are each supplied with 8 bands of different lengths. This means they can be precisely adjusted to ensure that they are effective, comfortable during the night and tailored to the needs of each user.
The anti-snoring orthosis has a structure innovative which allows the mouthpiece to be optimally adapted to the width of the jaw. Thanks to its flexibility and ultra-low volumeit offers a unique comfort during sleep. The volume of the SomnoFit-S orthosis is reduced by 25% compared to our other product SomnoFit and most anti-snoring orthoses in general. For people with large jawWe also offer the SomnoFit-Bwith the same technology as Somnofit-S.

Composition
All the components of the SomnoFit-S orthosis are made from high quality, biocompatible medical grade materials. The product has been developed to minimise the risk of allergies.
Allergenic components and endocrine disruptors:
Somnofit-S is BPA-free and latex-free.
Settings
The two mouth trays (upper and lower arches) are connected by a system of interchangeable synthetic bands. These are supplied in 8 different sizes for optimum adjustment of the advancement of the lower jaw to the user's dentition.

Service life, warranty
The lifespan of the device, on average 8 to 15 months, depends on maintenance, acidity in the mouth and mechanical stress. The orthosis should be replaced after 18 months of use. The device is guaranteed only in the event of a manufacturing defect.
Indications
- Snoring.
- Mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea (medical consultation recommended).
Contraindications
- Wearing a removable full or partial denture.
- Pain in the mandibular joint.
- Loose, unstable teeth, upper or lower jaw with fewer than 10 teeth.
- Under the age of 18.
- Bruxism (clenching or grinding of the teeth).
Instructions for use
Adapting the orthosis to your jaw
The anti-snoring mouth trays are adapted to the teeth by thermoforming, allowing them to be customised. The trays must be heated and softened in water at 80°C. Then simply place them in the mouth and bite down on each tray. This operation can be repeated 2 or 3 times if necessary.

Cleaning your Somnofit-S mandibular advancement orthosis
Daily use of the product :
In the morning, remove the brace, rinse it with clean water and then gently clean it with a dedicated toothbrush.
Place the product, away from light and at room temperature, all day in a container of warm water with a tablet of anti-bacterial denture descaler.
Rinse with clean water before placing back in the mouth for the night.
Note: If not used for a long time, dry the device thoroughly and place it in its storage box.

We offer two sizes of anti-snoring brace.
SomnoFit-S mandibular advancement orthosis (standard) :
- For small and medium-sized jaws. If in doubt, choose this size.
Mandibular advancement orthosis SomnoFit-B (large size) :
- For large jaws.
In a nutshell:
- If you have a narrow, small or normal jaw/mouth, we recommend using the SomnoFit-S orthosis.
- If your jaw is large and wide, use the orthotic SomnoFit-B.
