Snoring disrupts sleep, leading to chronic fatigue, reduced concentration, irritability and an increased risk of health problems such as sleep apnoea, high blood pressure and even long-term heart conditions. If snoring occurs mainly when lying on your back, the PosiForm-Belt is an ideal non-invasive solution.
The PosiForm-Belt is fitted with a smart electronic position sensor. When the user is sleeping on their back – a position known to encourage snoring due to partial obstruction of the airways – the belt emits a gentle and discreet vibrating signal. The signal is subtle but clearly noticeable; it does not compromise comfort and instinctively encourages the user to roll onto their side, thereby helping to reduce snoring throughout the night.

Instructions for use
Installing the belt :
- Remove the battery cover by pulling on the red tab.
- Insert the case into your belt pocket.
- Adjust the belt around your chest, applying slight tension.
- Switching on the appliance :
Press the central button on the device briefly (for less than a second). Two short vibrations will indicate that the system is active. You can lie down comfortably on your side or on your stomach. If you roll onto your back after about 10 to 15 seconds, the unit will emit an intermittent vibration until you return to a side or stomach position.
• Deactivation of the device:
Press the button on the device for 2 to 3 seconds. A long vibration confirms that it has switched off.
- Brightness adjustment of the vibrating signal of the device:
When the device is switched off, press and hold the central button for more than 5 seconds. The device will emit varying vibration signals. When the intensity of the vibration suits you, release the button. The device has now saved your intensity setting. It remains switched off and is ready to be switched on again.
- Replacing the batteries :Â
1- Unscrew* the two screws at the back of the case. Remove the back of the case.
2• Remove the used batteries, then press the power button a few times. Insert two new 1.5V batteries of
AAA type.
3• When the batteries are inserted, the system vibrates and the GREEN LED (new batteries) lights up for approximately 1 second*. The vibration intensity setting reverts to the default maximum value.
4- Close the case, observing the direction without forcing it. If necessary, turn it half a turn and tighten** the two screws. Replace the case in the belt pocket.
* Note: If the system does not respond when the batteries are inserted, please check the polarity of the batteries. If the problem persists, please check that the batteries you have inserted are new and fully charged.
** Note: use only a Philips PH1 screwdriver.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance :
Wipe the case with a slightly damp cloth. Do not rinse under running water. The fabric strap can be hand-washed in accordance with the instructions on its care label.
Warranty conditions :
The appliance is guaranteed for 2 years if the safety instructions are followed. Batteries and any damage they may cause are not guaranteed.
Disposal at the end of the product's life :
At the end of the appliance's life, please contact your local authority or distributor for waste disposal.
Advice
During the first few nights of use, it is perfectly normal to go through a period of adjustment during which the vibrations may slightly disrupt your sleep. We therefore recommend that you start at a moderate intensity vibrating signals, and then gradually adjust them to suit your personal comfort. The device should be worn over underwear or pyjamas. It is important to tighten sufficiently the belt to improve signal reception. Conversely, if the belt is not tightened sufficiently, a stronger vibration signal will be required, which may generate more noise and disturb your sleep and that of your partner.
To maximise the benefits of your PosiForm-Belt against snoringFor example, it's advisable to adopt good sleeping habits, such as keeping regular hours, keeping the bedroom cool and quiet, and avoiding screens before bedtime.
Never use the appliance in environments containing flammable anaesthetic mixtures combined with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide. This medical device requires precautions specific electromagnetic compatibility requirements. It must be installed and used away from mobile and portable devices emitting radio frequencies (mobile phones, transceivers, etc.) that could affect its operation. Do NOT handle the appliance with wet hands. and must not come into direct contact with liquids. If the appliance is knocked, cracked or appears damaged, stop using it immediately.
Information on using the belt
La Green LED flashes regularly (approximately every 5 seconds). When the system is switched on, pressing the central button briefly triggers a short vibration signal. When the system is switched off, the green LED flashes briefly every 30 seconds. Remember to check the condition of the batteries regularly by monitoring the indicator Red LEDThis is a sign that rapid replacement is necessary to ensure optimum operation.
When the red LED replaces the green LED, we recommend that you replace the batteries as soon as possible. If the batteries are not replaced in good time, the device will not start and will emit three vibrations accompanied by three successive red flashes.
To prevent the batteries from discharging prematurely, the appliance switches off automatically after about 14 hours. Only use alkaline batteries of the type specified in the user manual. If you are planning to leave the device unused for a long period, you must remove the batteries
