Thanks to its small but powerful SWISS motor, the OSCIMED PSV II plaster saw is very well balanced and compact.
Its low weight means it can be used with just one hand, even for small users. Its ergonomic design features a grip area with a reduced circumference.
To reduce noise and vibration, the motor is mounted on elastomer shock absorbers. A built-in fan means the saw can be used intensively without overheating.
Accessories such as blades and suction nozzle can be changed quickly, without tools. The appliance operates on safe low voltage and complies with the latest medical standards.
Available in two versions: with or without dust extractor
The PSV II without air extraction duct (OSC 400) has one of the smallest grip circumferences. This model is the new benchmark on the market. The PSV II is perfect for children's plaster rooms or for hand surgeons.
The PSV II with air duct (OSC 400V) is designed for use with a hoover. Our engineers designed this model to minimise the size of the grip and considerably improve freedom of movement.
The tool-free blade changing system is practical and prevents injuries. A wide range of replacement blades is available for all kinds of bandages:
- Standard stainless steel blades.
- Hardened stainless steel blades for synthetic plasters with glass fibres.
- Blades with titanium nitride (Tin) treatment.
- Non-stick blades to prevent synthetic bandages from sticking to the blade.
This saw comes with our noise-reducing saw blade: BS-65-LN.
OSCIMED dust extraction system
4 filtration levels, adjustable power and automatic start.
This hoover with adjustable suction power is mounted on 4 castors. Its robust, powerful construction includes a support for the saw.
HEPA-standard filters ensure 99.97 % filtration of particles as small as 0.3 microns. A power socket is provided for connecting the saw. The hoover starts automatically when the saw is switched on and stops a few seconds after the saw is switched off.
