The SomnoFit-S / -B orthosis has a patented flexible structure that allows the mouthpiece to adapt to the width of the jaw.
This gives the brace unique flexibility and comfort.
Thermoformable and ultra-reduced volume
The volume of SomnoFit-S is reduced by 30% compared with our SomnoFit orthosis and most thermoformable anti-snoring orthoses. For users with a large jaw, the SomnoFit-B model, with the same technology as the SomnoFit-S, is the ideal product.
How does the SomnoFit-S / -B orthosis work?
During sleep, the orthosis moves the lower jaw forward a few millimetres. This clears the back of the tongue, freeing the passage of inspired air. This clinically proven principle is highly effective in reducing snoring and sleep apnoea.

Indications
- Snoring.
- Mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea (medical consultation recommended).
Contraindications
- Wearing a removable full or partial denture.
- Pain in the mandibular joint.
- Loose, unstable teeth, upper or lower jaw with fewer than 10 teeth.
- Under the age of 18.
- Bruxism (clenching or grinding of the teeth).
How do you choose the size of your orthosis?
We offer two sizes of orthoses:
SomnoFit-S orthosis (standard) :
- For small and medium-sized jaws. If in doubt, choose this standard size.
SomnoFit-B orthosis (large size) :
- For large jaws.
In a nutshell:
- If you have a narrow, small or normal jaw, we recommend using the SomnoFit-S orthosis.
- If your jaw is large and wide, use the SomnoFit-B orthosis.
Adapting the orthosis to your jaw
The trays are adapted to your teeth by thermoforming. The trays must be heated and softened in water at 80°C. All you then have to do is bite into each tray. This operation can be repeated 2 or 3 times if necessary.

Adjustment of mandibular advancement
As a general rule, a mandibular advancement of 4 to 7 mm is sufficient to reduce snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. The SomnoFit-S / -B orthosis is supplied with 8 bands of different lengths. This allows precise adjustment to guarantee effectiveness and to suit the needs of each user.
Cleaning your mandibular advancement orthosis
For daily cleaning, we recommend using a denture cleaner. Simply soak the appliance in warm water (around 35°) with a disinfectant tablet for at least half an hour. You can easily leave a dental brace in this solution all day, without forgetting to rinse it under running water before putting it back in your mouth.
